MY LIFE WHEN I'M NOT BEING A

KENT WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER

HEY, I'M SCOTT

The Groom Who Didn’t Want a Videographer (Now Look at Me)

Like many grooms, I wasn’t too fussed about wedding videography. My wife, Amy, however, was adamant – and let’s be honest, she usually wins these things. We compromised (read: she won), and we booked a videographer.

It turned out to be the best decision of our entire wedding (after marrying her, obviously). Watching that film back, I was floored. It wasn’t just a record of the day – it was like being transported back into the room, hearing the voices, feeling the energy, noticing moments I’d missed. That single film sparked something in me, and I knew I wanted to do the same for other couples. And just like that, Two3Six Films was born.

A Few Things You Should Probably Know About Me:

  • I’m married to Amy, who still makes most of the big decisions (including the fact that we now have a wedding videography business).

  • We share our lives with Axl, a scrappy Jack Russell cross who we rescued from Spain. He’s part dog, part troublemaker.

  • I love golf – though my swing is more “hope and a prayer” than PGA ready.

  • I am that bloke who insists on tackling DIY projects, despite the fact I have absolutely no business holding a drill.

My Filmmaking Style

I’d describe myself as a “fly on the wall” with a camera. I don’t want to stage-manage your day, I want to document it as it really happens. From the build-up in the morning to the speeches, the dancing, and those in-between moments you didn’t even notice, I’m there quietly filming it all.

Think less “Hollywood blockbuster with cheesy voiceover” and more “beautiful, cinematic story that feels undeniably yours.”
